Hearing Emma coo (yes, I said "coo") lines such as: "My aching heart, can't bear to wait in such suspense" almost makes me forget how engineered and over-produced the song is. Almost.

Is anyone else sick of getting asked, do you like the shins? or similar questions by people who just bought their copy of clay aiken christmas. It's these teen shows to blame with their psuedo indie tracks to make them look credible but really they were just put together in a marketing ploy. excuse me for sounding too "fuck the system" but being a high school student who enjoys music, this just eats at me. oh please dont respond with nasty sarcastic things either, that would be lame.

The Tim Booth album is actually my favorite disc of 2004. And the B-sides to the UK singles are even better. Oddly enough, Booth is playing a thug in the new Batman movie, in a role that could become the main villain in the sequel. It's some world we live in! I'm in the process of a major post about all of this, it'll be up by week's end.

i was waiting for some kind of post about emma bunton. her new cd is rediculously great when it should suck. Its filled to the brim phill spector/mama cass/60s go-go ear candy. She sounds so sweet, and the production is so shamelessly over the top and pretty. My newest gulty pleasure.

Ah, but have you heard her first solo CD: 'A Girl Like Me'?
Track one on the disc 'What Took You So Long' is catchy as hell, but the rest of it is teeth-rottingly sweet.
