New Beck Video - "Hell Yes"

That roboclip we were speculating about is now streaming at beck.com. Thoughts? Could it use more David Cross?

I never really cared for "Hell Yes," but the video definitely makes up for it. This thing better win some goddamn MTV awards.

The video will probably end up being re-packaged as an ad for the robot, with all the footage of Beck edited out and the song changed.

Boycott Beck, he is a scientologist and is forced to funnel money to the cult.

I hope to one day be owned by a dancing robot. I'd be a very happy slave.

Dull song, which I find only moderately amusing because Christina Ricci is saying "Please Enjoy" in it.

Um. I love Beck n'all, but that video kind of sucks. The doing kabuki dance? Awesome. The weird "look it's Beck in a blue filter, we had to put him in the video so you'd know it was his song" part? Pleugh.

Come on, Beck. You can do better than that.

Oh the robots are so going to kill us one day over this. In the meantime...awww so "supa kawaii!" As Gwen S. the Japanese enthusiasist would say.

Man I wish that they used the 8-bit remix of this song.

I also wish that Christina Ricci made the cameo for her parts of the song.

So we're building robots that dance like humans when all this time I though we (and especially Beck) were trying to dance like robots...

Or did I just BLOW YOUR FUCKING MINDS?!

Those robots are terrifing. They're cuter than babies. Humans really have no function now do we? Not even as children.

Kurt Vonnegut was right. About everything.

No.

Since everything needs to be judged, I am sad to say that this gets a thumbs-down from me.

I liked the other Hell Yes video:

http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia/interscope/beck/video/hell-yes/hell-yes.asx

I don't think that's Christina Ricci though.

I wish Christina Ricci made the cameo for her parts naked and covered in oils.

Can anyone find a link of that damn video that doesn't require registration at Interscope? I'm already getting spam mail from Island/Def Jam and I don't want to deal with more.
