New Dinosaur Jr - "Almost Ready"

The first track from J Mascis and crew's forthcoming eighth album is a door-busting slab of classic college radio guitar rock. J's working the frets, overdrive on way-overdrive, killer melodies all around. (Grab it at P4K). And just like that, we believe in Beyond. Where maybe these pictures had us questioning our faith. Or thinking about buying a pair.

Beyond is out 5/1 on Fat Possum.

The shoes are lame, but the album is great. Its not due out until May and its already leaked! Too early I say (even if I got it anyway).

This sounds great; I'm glad he's decided to become the best type of time machine (those that actually time travel.)

The two songs that Lou sings on this record could be straight off a Sebadoh record. That's a good thing
