New Feist - "Sea Lion Woman (Chromeo Remix)"

The "Fancy Footwork"ing duo sic their synths into Feist's interpretation of the traditional "Sea Lion Woman" (or "See-Line Woman," if you're asking Nina), giving it a rub down in the OTT keyboard and four-to-the-floor kick beat Chromeo lives for. Have a listen at MySpace, but take the jump to see lovely Leslie do "1234" on Leno last night. She didn't bring the dancers, sadly. But she did play a semi hollow body that's nearly twice her body mass, which is cute compensation.

anyone remember when she was on kimmel (or was it carson daly?) and she completely fucking slayed on a solo? i want her to release a rock album where she just shreds on every song.. she's such an underrated guitar player.

i love this woman.

feist is heaven, and most people don't even know how much she can rock.

That guitar playing was actually really off, though . . . it sounded like either she didn't have the right levels or she was missing the strings, lol.
