New ¡Forward, Russia! Video - "Nine"
We're peace-loving people, but these dudes make us want to run around and smash things -- while thinking about the failure of the Nile to provide a modern life. And thinking about Hemingway. That's post-punk with a heart and a mind. CMJ gave us two chances to see last fall's Band To Watch and their "¡!" tees (¡we're dying for one!), and we're still suffering from whiplash and elbow hyperextension. Meanwhile, the director for "Nine" must've heard the angularity and drama to their style and said, "You sound shadowy, dramatic, and fractured." Can't fault him.

I still havent built up the courage to go and knock on the door of Dance TO The Radio (Whiska from !F,R!'s record label) as they're next to my dad's office.
You should check out other DTTR people, like The Pigeon Detectives and This Et AL...all from the best city in the world!
