Now am I the one who may call "bitches" on those of you slow of loading this site, who can probably not even bend spoons like me?

I say this as a huge FF fan... That song sucks. I hope they can work some serious studio magic.

I wonder what hans ferdinand is up to. I don't know about anyone else, but when hans and franz broke up, they squished my heart like a tiny little grape. it is nice that franz has moved on though.

I was hoping that this song would change my negative opinion of FF - it didn't.

I'm just surprised that the new Wolf Parade EP isn't featured in the "Rockin' The iPod" sidebar yet...

I heard about this new Depeche Mode track, so I downloaded it and it sounded very average for DM, all the hype seems to be a publicity stunt.

As for the new FF track, it sounds quite cool, I can't see why it's got so many bad reviews, it would fit in perfectly on their first album. Personally I think it's because of the anticipation for an album of equal quality- you're all expecting another Take Me Out? They're not The Beatles.

I think it will sound better in the studio. But I still don't like it. I think Kapranos said something like "it's the most insanely catchy" one on the album. Not good. Catchy, sure,

i think that FF are awesome no matter what so i think you should all wait to hear the new album defo!!!
you should also have a bit of respect for the band as they are trying to keep it as real as possible and have already managed to survive a few years without flying off the rails
and probably none of you can play guitar drums bass or sing like them so zip it!!!

i do think it sounds better live though :S

The fact the song might not be impressing people is that it is recorded at 56 kbps. Thats not good quality at all. I've heard the studio recording and its 1000000 times better.

Ok, so personally I love the new franz ferdinand song. Honestly, it's so catchy. Like someone said previosuly, they're not the beatles, why expect another song like take me out.

The Beatles are one of the most overrated bands ever...trite all the way...
Take me Out is in no way the best song on the first album...Darts, Fire, Michael easily are better...Let alone the B side Love and Destroy..
I love the band, only problem i have is that i have to put up with lots of crap people liking them now =(

More derivative, meaningless keech from the most overhyped band on the face of the planet.

As for pinning your hopes on the 'studio version' being better than this version, no amount of industrial strength turd polish will rescue a shit song from being a shit song.

Total pish.

I think it's great. The video's here if anyone wants it. They seem to represent everything that I like in pop music. Throwaway, catchy, sugar-rush.
