Wikipedia has a great article on Neil, including his rotoscoped coke filled nostril.

Been listening to "Prairie Wind" since his shows in Nashville, and been a big fan since my junior high days in early '70s. All in all, a decent Neil record, but not a great one. The songs are very personal and sound great. It hasn't pulled me back in over and over again, though. Like most Neil records, it's a good document for where he is right now, and will get better over the years.

    Now, bring on the archives...

Hey, I'm realy enjoying Neal Youngs Prairie Wind. Our local songwriter down the street here is verbaly claiming he wrote "The Painted".. (inspired by an ex-wife). Whats the chance of that?
I'm pretty sure that Mr. Young is claiming that he wrote all those songs. lol weight it out.
