Stepping up to the plate after a challenge from Australia's JJJ radio, mashup master team9 has belted out, or should we say sewn together, another rocker with "When You Were A Starlight," taking the trademark tunes from The Killers and Muse's recent releases and splicing 'em into a guit rock banger. Grab it here.This comes on the heels of JJJ radio adding some of the team9 vs. Stereogum MySplice '06 tracks to their rotation, which makes JJJ our fave station in all of Oz. Next up, we get Peter Gabriel and Hot Chip to perform "Big School" at Big Day Out '08.

yeah, i heard this when it was being aired the other day, it was on robbie buck's show, "top shelf" which is one of the best radio programs ever ever ever (which makes sense since triple j is the best station ever!)...i heard one of the stereogum mashups and was like "WHAAAA"
