I love Fanclub. This song is NOT disappointing. "Bandwagonesque" was 10 years ago. They've moved on.

After an initial and uneducated reaction of "What's tennis got to do with it?", I listened about 20 times, and I love it. I'll probably love it at least another 20 times before the day is done.

(I left the apartment today with "The Concept" in my head. I must've know the Fanclub were on the horizon. Or it could just be that I'm wearing denim, and whenever I wear denim, well, you know...)

This song reminds me a lot of Twilight Campfire by GBV. Anyone else get that?

This song is boring. I'm not sure how that relates to the release date of Bandwagonesque. (They *have* had records since, you know.)

Norman's songs on this records are all fantastic, but the rest of it is pretty inconsequential (including this one). Grand Prix and Songs from Northern Britain still trump every they've ever done.

It is very pretty. It reminds me a lot of some of the tamer Posies recordings. It makes me miss the Posies.

I'm gonna die drivin' 200kms/hr to Teeenage Fanclubs new record. Mellow on 1ST spin but cranked in the twilight it's speed metal, power pop at it's finest.
I waited 16 years to see them live and in Aug at Richard's, I'll have a pocketful of words in my brain hanging with Scotlands finest.

The Rolling Stones postpone a show in the US to allow singer Sir Mick Jagger time to rest his voice...
