You can catch Tommy P this summer on the aptly titled "Highway Companions Tour" with Trey Anastasio, Pearl Jam, The Allman Brothers and The Derek Trucks Band. Featuring lots of guitar solos.

I even heard Petty from backstage at Bonaroo say "It's a rock and roll song with that John Lee Hooker beat." Hi, new to the forum.
I just heard the song today, "Saving Grace." It is a great song. But I had the feeling I had heard it before, probably from a movie.
Anyway, I listen to all the artists posted and Jim is right. It sounds an awful lot like Canned Heat's "On The Road Again."
