New TV On The Radio Video - "Wolf Like Me"

Apparently that jingle from the Samsung K5 commercial is by a rock 'n' roll group called TV On The Radio. You can watch the music video for this fine song exclusively at aolmusicindie.com.

That YouTube link's for "Playhouses," which admittedly was what "Wolf Like Me" was labeled as in the first leak of the new (and insanely great) album.

ahhahahahahaha:
no idea what that's all about, but I have no doubt it will be sweet and indie as all get out

Ah, indie rock-- funny how something can remain a genre without having almost any specifics.

I dig the video. I dig the song even more. And you, my friend, have just convinced me to go buy that album.

Yeah, they were filming it all day outside my place (Smith btw Union & President) a bit over a month ago. Frickin' bubble people...

I live in Providence and heard this song on 95.5 WBRU the other day - is it an official single in this country?

that commercial is better than when the lead singer was on that Truth commercial.

Funny how the "Playhouses" (Fat Boy Slim/Lateef video) video was directed by Jon Watts...

"is by a rock and roll group called TV on the Radio"

is that line a joke? Because it suggests that you've never heard of them before this commercial...which is VERY strange because I've always given you much more indie-cred than that, scott.

And, to the rest of you in the US who haven't picked up this record yet...YOU CAN'T - it doesn't come out until next tues...but it is the best album of 2006, by far.

"on that Truth commercial." Heh! Double heh!

Yeah, "AOLmusicindie" sounds weird, but I guess it's also a certain endearing sweetness, like a child wearing his mother's clothes.

I live in the US and bought it over a month ago at Tower. Twas an import though.

I think the album sucks balls (and I'm a TVOTR fan) and I'll sell mine cheap. I can only stomach a few songs. I think the only people who will like it are the ones who decided they were going to love it before they even heard it.

Honestly, I think the commercial with Wolf Like Me is better than the video. And that is Brooklyn where they shot it. I recognize one of the storefronts in the background.
