New Figurines Video - "Childhood Verse"
The video for "Childhood Verse" -- directed by Casper Balslev -- has made it further than "The Air We Breathe"'s ill-fated floating ever did. That's a good thing. Recalling Liars' "Plaster Casts Of Everything," the vid has the gaming experts in a dark kaleidoscope with flickering faces projected onto faces (and shirts, and more faces). It's taut and mood-swinging indie pop, this, but these four minutes of visuals suddenly have us thinking Figurines may be a lot of fun to get all Encyclopedia Pictura to.
