New Lonely Island (Feat. T-Pain) - "I'm On A Boat"
There are exactly two things the world needs no more of: in order, they are fake rap and autotuned T-Pain cameos. End list. Accordingly this cut from the Lonely Island's debut album should be a shitshow, except that it's not, because it's written by SNL's Digital Shorties Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer. Ergo it passes muster in that 1) they are funny and 2) they know fake rap and auto-Pain are the worst and did it anyway because irony. "I'm On A Boat" doesn't bring the sweet ejaculations of the Pet Shop Boys-nodding "Jizz In My Pants," nor the glory holes of the Color Me Badd-tipping "Dick In A Box," but T-Pain does confess to fucking a mermaid, so there's that? Prep yourself for a 2:42 masterclass in stunting. This boat is REAL.

Everything I'm clicking on today on this site is pretty blah. Maybe it's me. In any event, the audio was not working on this. Considering I find the 'digital short' bits the worst part of SNL (and it's all been pretty bad since like 1987), I do not think I'll be getting this album.
