O.C. 3

Why are the opening credits so much uglier than the ads for the show? It's inexcusable.

Also, when Julie sat down and said "Look, I'm a grieving widow" I spat out my beer, she's so cool.

Also, the Jeri Ryan obsessive life-stealing stalker is so "Friends Til The End" with Shannen Doherty. This addition to the storyline is apt. APT!

The Jeri Ryan storyline is such a 90210 ripoff, it's unreal. Remember when Kelly befriended a girl in rehab and Tara (ahem) who cut her hair to look like Kelly and then kidnapped Kelly and tried to get them to commit double suicide overlooking a cliff?

My big question is whether Kirsten knows about all that's been going on (i.e. Marissa almost killing someone, her adopted child briefly going to prison etc) or if Sandy has somehow managed to keep that from her while she gets pedicures at Suriak.

Jeri Ryan ushered in the shark, which then jumped, on Boston Public. The first season of that show was good. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Then Jeri Ryan ruined it.

also: what if jeri ryan isn't a "single white female"/90210 steal and is actually a lesbian!!! that could be even better, they could rip off jealous lesbian from last season! self-referential comedy is so in right now...

and: what does everyone think of trey moving to Vegas? he could have a big future there with the new Treasure Island crowd...will there ever be another "Vegas Baby" episode? Sandy loves the Vegas.

I have never watched an episode of the OC in my life, so I suppose my opinion is worthless, but Mischa Barton is, in my opinion, one of the most unattractive women to be generally considered attractive (if that makes any sense). Does no one else see this?

Jeri Ryan, shark-jumping notwithstanding, is, on the other hand, mesmerizingly beautiful.

So *why* did Summer and Marissa have to dress like candy stripers in order to see Trey? Could they not have just come in to see him during normal visiting hours just as Ryan did, like, two days earlier? This was my favorite part of the episode. Well, that and the creepy *whoosh* sound that was made when Julie showed up in Trey's room. That was awesome!

I also thought that Jerri Ryan was going to be this year's Ratings Boosting Lesbian Storyline, although in a weirdly self-referential style. I'm already missing Drunk Kirsten, without her how will they manage to have a party per episode that ends in fisticuffs and a shocking public revelation?

At least now when Demi Moore shows up as Summer's mom she can thank Jeri Ryan for being the one who let the air out of the tires instead of it being her. Nice to see as usual everything is wrapped up so nicely by the end of one episode, I forget what a brain-numbing experience the show has become.

I watch the OC practically religiously-- okay, not that much, but i love the show-- and I'm pleased with having Jeri Ryan on the show. Add a lil bit of intrigue as to what she's doing there.

I loved the season premiere but other than that I don't really know what y'all are talking about, so....
And I hate the swimsuit but I think Mischa is pretty.

I don't know I started hating Mischa when I saw a Disney TV movie called the "Endless Ring of Light." She just didn't make me believe that she could talk and feel dolphins. I just didn't "feel" that Mischy.

I liked her in "Lost and Delerious", but I guess it's because she wasn't front and centre in it. I mean it was all about Piper Parabo being really pissed off about loosing her girlfriend and discovering Falcony (I really hate birds.)

Anyways, the point is. I either don't care or don't like her. She's like the fuck buddy I only call if I went through my list and everyone was busy and for some reason I really needed it.

I'm babbling. I'm going to miss Tre and his crazy coke, raping ways...

Jeri Ryan did not ruin Boston Public, I thought Boston Public ruined itself with it's crappy and far fetched stories. The show did "Jump the Shark" with Jeri's addition but that "Jump the Shark" moment was heralded by the psycho Hook Lady and her crazy son, if Jeri did not turn up it would remain the same crappy show, with crappy writing and crappy stories and still get cancelled after a few seasons anyway...
