'One Word' From Kelly Osbourne
It's hard not to root for someone who has Ozzy Osbourne for a dad.
Kelly's sophomore CD Bat Out Of Rehab Too (not the real title) was written and produced by Swedish robots and the chick from 4 Non Blondes. You may have read how Epic unloaded her after Shut Up; Kelly's now on label du jour Sanctuary.
Watch the brand new "One Word" video here (Sorry, no more linky -ed.) and marvel at the most slimming FX since "Promise Of A New Day." The clip was inspired by Alphaville (the Godard film, not the synthpop band).

I think what we have going on here is some taping-- wherein a person's face is literally taped back to give cheekbones and hair covers up the taping. Combined with makeup and lighting can give really dramatic results. examples: Madonna on the Die Another Day single, and Tori Amos in the Strange Little Girls photos.

Kelly's new album is great! One word has done very well(#1 dance chart in more than a few countries) and she has several songs on the album as potential singles. I expect she'll have a few hits off of this album.
As for the cracks about her weight. She actually is just very short and rounded. Lots of curves. And she is thinner in the face because when you abuse perscription drugs many of them cause you to become constipated, bloated, and ultimately toxic causing liver and kidney problems.
Thank God this CHILD (remember you are talking about a very young person) has recovered from her illness. Let's hope a negative self image won't get pounded into her head by all the flack from insensitive media and people.

Julian Lennon's IMAGE AND NAME should have been featured in this article as well! I have been a fan of his since the late 1980s.He is immensly talented with or without his name. "Photograph Smile" is a beautiful album. Many people would be very impressed if they heard it randomly without knowing or seeng Lennon's name is on it. It was an HBCU- Fisk Univ. From what I know, she didn't graduate but transfered elsewhere. I cannot remember her major but we had some of the same classes. She would show up late to class or not at all. Definitely not the bookworm type. She's on tour, singing with her dad these days.
