Apparenly no one told him how bad that first Porno For Pyros record cover looked.

An aesthetical abortion, to be sure, but dude does sample Jim Morrison, and has the guitarist from Extreme, Fergie and the Chronicles of Narnia composer guest on this record...

It's not like he's known for his sanity.

It looks like a billboard for Spearming Rhino strip club crossed with a rave flyer. Vurp.

diggy nailed it, it's totally a rave flyer.

Woah! Surely this can't be the actual artwork? I have to concur with the rave flyer comparison, though I have to say I've seen much better rave flyers than this monstrosity!

I feel like there's gotta be a catch; has anyone tested it with 3-D glasses?

It's not worse than the cover for Brian Wilson's 2004 album Gettin' In Over My Head.

Compare the two. I think Brian's is worse.

I haven't tried with with 3-D glasses but if you turn it upside down, hold it exactly seventeen inches from your face and look at it through a magnifying glass... it still looks like a pile of shit.

that is 49 different kinds of upsetting. It's kind of like splashing bleach in your eye.

Oh what a shock. Perry Ferrell is talentless at something, well my day is ruined. Hack.

You guys all have it wrong. This is one of those things that is so awful it's fantastic. Come on, even if someone told you to design a bad album cover you'd never be able to make something like this.

In all reality, unless he let his hot asian wife do this cover, I'm going to have to hope it's fake. Perry is actually a pretty talented artist, as most of the album covers for the projects he's been involved in over the years prove. And even the ones he didn't do don't come anywhere near sucking this badly. What is going on?

I've already posted 2 on the nearest telephone pole to my apt. My neighborhood's gonna love me by the end of the weekend.

I'm listening to this album now and it's a complete turd. I think the idea is that Perry is a rich, older man in a good place in his life and I don't know too many people in that position that are making interesting music. I think he should excuse himself to the mothership and groove away.

i went to the concert in dallas... and i will tell you that it was an awesome concert and he showed that he wanted to be there and was having a great time. he was very personable. the album is laid back and i love it... the show was one i would go to again and again.

Quit Your Day Job: Ungdomskulen

Premature Evaluation: Beck - Modern Guilt
