Polaris Prize 2008 Long List Announced • The initial crop of nominees for the third year of Canada's music award -- including the Acorn, Black Mountain, Caribou, Crystal Castles, Islands, the New Pornos, Tegan & Sara, and Wintersleep -- has been unveiled at polarismusicprize.ca. The short list will be announced July 7th.
