R. Kelly Sings The National Anthem

Reader Matthew writes in...

Y'all need to put out the call for an mp3 of R. Kelly singing the national anthem at the fight. Word 'round the campfire is that he jacked it up somethin' awful. Or made it relevant again. Let the people decide!
Oooh, was there a spatula? Got A/V? E-mail us.

No files, unfortch, but I saw a short clip of R.'s version on Monday's "Pardon the Interruption." It involved people dancing, hand clapping, and exhortations to the crowd like, "Clap your hands, y'all!" (but no corresponding command to say yeah)

There's a link to download the R. Kelly performance at http://crunktastical.blogspot.com/, but it's a You Send It link and once 25 people download it or the link's not used for seven days, You Send It shuts the link down.

I didn't hear R Kelly anthem but, I am sure he tried his best to perform it so that everyone would like it. I think he thinks everyone in America knows the song 'Step in the name of love' obviously they don't or don't care(Some people don't even know that there are two versions on the Chocolate Factory, the original and the remix, lyrically the original is better). Because of not knowing his music, America won't see what he was trying to do for anthem or with the anthem, whichever suitable. I guess, R Kelly was singing for America to feel his vibe for love and for America by in his own words "we did it for love, yeah...America step step side to side, everyone do the love slide! It is sad to say but, most of the world hates America just as most of America hates R Kelly. But, in the end no matter how one may look at this situation, both R Kelly and America have guts and, their glorying is just a 'step' behind, so as for my opinion, if you believe in love and America like I do, step in the name of love.
