Radiohead Are Weirdo Rippers

Last night No Age's drumming vocalist Dean Spunt emailed us, mentioning that to his surprise he caught Colin Greenwood sporting a No Age t-shirt during the radiohead.tv broadcast of their 93 Feet East gig. In his words, "IN RAINBOWS , NO AGE IN RAINBOWS." He's right (see below). And hell, the L.A. duo's rainbow theme fits rather nicely with Radiohead's current design theme -- smart thinking Dean and Randy. Come to think of it, this could very well be our first BTW to end up on the body of a member of Radiohead. That came out all wrong. Anyhow, as if loving No Age wasn't sign enough of good taste, during their recent BBC DJ sets, Jonny spun Grizzly Bear and Thom hooked it up with Burial and !!! for the second time. We have that entire set after the jump.

I bet he got that No Age t-shirt across the street at Rough Trade - I saw that they had one hanging there for sale the day before!

Seems that No Age is well-aware of the endorsement:

more like everybody really loves no age. and rightfully so, dudes kill. and innercityblues, another sign of them being well-aware of the endorsement was when they wrote stereogum an email about it. but i could see how you'd miss that, being in the first sentence and all.

wow no age really sucks. i just checked them out. 3 chord punk songs with out of key singing. pretty awful stuff. radiohead are music nerds. they know of every band that ever existed, ever.

Ha, No Age! that almost makes up for Radiohead's terminally morose output over the last, oh i don't know, century. Only kidding, I love free shit! But yeah, No Age. I saw them on VBS.tv's practice space and i've been hooked since - http://www.vbs.tv/player.php?bctid=1293598940&bccl=Mjg0OTQ3NzE4X19NVVNJQw==
