Robyn Covers Kelly Clarkson
BBC6's Jo Whiley played host this morning to a live session offering up a pop cocktail shaken and stirred in Stereo heaven: Swedish pop princess Robyn, covering "Since U Been Gone." Doesn't get much better than that, and it'll sound as good out of your laptop speakers as it does on paper. Just the lovely Robyn with some very Madonna-esque synth, taking Kelly's four-alarm screamer and moving it into '80s ballad territory. Fair, yes, we're obsessed with Robyn, but if you have even an ounce of love for Konichiwa, this track is a must. Not making a run at Ted Leo in the definitive Kelly cover sweepstakes, but still we like. Grab it at Electroqueer. (via P4K)
