Scott Stapp: Wedding, Crashing
Creed dude can't do anything right. Via MTV News:
On Friday, he married his fiancée of a little more than a month, former Miss New York Jaclyn Nesheiwat, in a ceremony at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami...I think this warrants new t-shirts.Then on Saturday, roughly 24 hours after his nuptials, Stapp was arrested by police at Los Angeles International Airport after it was suspected that he was intoxicated while attempting to board an airplane bound for Hawaii.

According to Billboard, he got married the night before he got arrested! Way to kick start your honeymoon Stapp! In sickness and in health, in freedom and incarceration...

I honestly think he is very unhappy which is why he is drinking so much. You have to admit he has been in more trouble since they got engaged on Thanksgiving than in the previous 3 years. I don't think he wanted to marry her but had to.

Back in the old days, when I lived in the dorm, I had this Albino God-Warrior roommate who would fucking blast Creed. Once I came home drunk and hit my head on my desk when I was lying down, and he said, "I think you're DRUNK!" I wonder what he thinks of his idol now.

SAPP gives rock stars a bad name...what with Keith Richards, Slash, and numerous others walking around the greater US of A at any given moment with blood alcohol content off the charts, the contents of there pockets resembling small pharmacies and prominent signs of sugar buggars around there nasal cavities...This is either a really bad publicity ploy or a sign of a marriage disintegrating at high speed...Scott needs to find his old buddy JESUS as fast as possible and irritate us with more of his metal hymns...

Jealous detractors the lot of you! Wait for his comeback, then you will be bowing down to the might of Stapp just as you did to Creed!

The honeymoon started off eventful and will end with a huge bang. It was reported in US weekly his wife's favorite but soon to be most hated magazine that a sex tape of Stapp & Kid Rock with several female fans is being released by the same company that released the Paris Hilton tape. The company has set up a website ScottStappSexTape.com to view a 50 second segment. This is real not a joke, you can also google and find it. You really have to feel for this girl and her family at this point, her parents most be mortified.

Not to defend this turd, but since when is being intoxicated on a plane cause for arrest, in and of itself?

I think getting arrested had to do with him creating a commotion at the terminal according to several witnesses (checkout moodypeople.com). He was yelling and cursing at the attendants at the check in counter because they would not upgrade him to first class, then he tried to storm onto the plane yelling F--- this I'm sitting in first class. That is when they closed the doors so he could not get on, the airport security arrived and he was yelling I'm a cop and took out a fake badge (that will get you arrested) that pissed off security and they threw him down, spread his legs, searched and cuffed him. He was held in their custody until the LA police arrived and arrested him. The idiot then demands a blood alcohol check, which he fails. Pretty stupid of him considering he was drinking in the admirals club for two hours while waiting for his flight, where patrons said he was acting like an ass being loud and obnoxious. He should have not been so cheap and bought the damn first class tickets to begin with.

SCOTT NEEDS TO DO MORE SOUL SEARCHING. IF HE CAN'T HANDLE THE PUBILICITY OF FANS AND THE POWER OF BEING NOTABLE, THEN TAKE A BREAK. BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE STARTING TO LOSE FAITH IN HIS MUSIC.

So what... is this rock star so different.
Who does not drink champagne on their honeymoon and christians cant handle it, esp native blood. I have a weak tolerance myself.
Maybe he has temper tantrums from propaganda, I know I do. I got propaganda from W F Buckleys for ten long torturous years and survived and during that time Bono was also an a to me and only Scott got on the circuits and was at least trying to be nice. I have a good reason to be peeved at Scott for even getting on a monopoly propaganda circuit ie three times also did he get me but I could see he was actually concerned, or I hope his true personality is more like his soft sided songs. He cant be all that bad, he keeps his son in custody. At least I hope he stays clear minded enough for that. Its the system that is abusive and the net people towards believers, esp rich ones. He gets hated because unlike other rock egos, he believes, so no one complains about his wilder cronies, only Scott, showing jealousy too.
Maybe he is a cad but show me a rock star who is not a bit of an ego cad. I have an ego I used to produce so if u think rock stars are ego wait til u meet us the behind the scene belligents, ha ha ha. We producers can show u the meaning of the word cad. U have to have an ego to do that stuff. Anyone who was studying law has to be a bit of a cad, like a politician. I dont hate Scott but he sure has at times made me mad and jealous too. He is a politico jock too what can u expect from a rock star. Give the guy a break. He, like all american men, watch football, so what are ladies to do? Also we all know actors are mind games.
I wonder if 666 is after him.....
I had a dream too about his wife a year ago that her father put her up to it and he her father was wanting me. Is her father foriegn with a leather jacket, a nice accent, poofy curly dark hair and a white horse? Her father Is sexy. teleporters know all

I made the mistake of going to the concert in Orlando.... He didn't acknowledge the band that played with him, he was horrible... The band had no expression on their faces. He totally forgot the lyrics to one of his songs and went like 5 or 6 bars until he could remember... He messed up My Own Prison and Bullets... I felt like I was at a Sunday Sermon the way he preached about his spirituality... He looked high or drunk or something.. It was very sad. Stick a fork in him, he is well past done... On a high note, the opening band Breaking Point was really good, I was impressed.

I guess just saying you are a christian doesn't really mean you are a christian. Man, where is the conviction? Despite what you think of his antics and singing, the dude's life is spiraling. Hopefully he turns it around.

Give me a break-I too was at Scott Stapps concert in Orlando. He was not drunk or on drugs. It's amazing how my husband and I and everyone around us were able to sing along with him and never did we look at each other and sigh because he "forgot the words". Perhaps it's YOU that was alittle wasted and "forgot the words". Hey pal-why did you but the tickets for the concert if he's such a waste of your time? Mean people suck-that means you. Stop acting all judge and jury fool- sober up yourself. Hope I meet you someday-it would be a first to actually meet someone so "perfect". And lets remember what he's doing for the 100,000 starving kids in Orlando bud-what have you done?

A little exaggeration on both your parts. Scott did mess up a bit on Hard Way but not that many bars. He did mess up a little bit on Bullets, I didn't catch anything on My Own Prison, but the were several times he made a mistake. Not huge mess ups though things like that happen when you perform live, especially if your nervous, normal mistakes made during concerts. Was it a great show, no but it wasn't as bad as some people have made it out, then again it wasn't as good as many have made it out either. Lets face it it wasn't Creed if that what people were expecting. It was empty. It was probably only half full on the floor, and the upstairs was closed. They were handing out free tickets prior to the show until doors closed. I don't think he was drunk but he definitely didn't have his groove on. He didn't have his usual energy, seemed almost sedate. He has been through alot and I'm sure he knows how many people feel about him, I think maybe he wasn't sure about how last night would go after all the recent bad press. Lets face it he saw how empty it was, far cry from Creed days, I'm sure it affected him. His voice was better than on his cd and recent TV/radio but it is not what it used to be. He rambled alot, seemed depressed to me, and his hand was bandaged. His backup band was so-so. I have to agree the opening band was awesome!! Breaking Point, really good, truthfully I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the very near future either reverse their roles on this tour with them headlining and Stapp opening for them or this tour cancelled soon and Breaking Point going out on their own. They were certainly the better. My personal opinion only, I was a big Creed fan but it is over. Scott I don't think will survive as a solo artist, he just doesn't have it anymore. He obviously has some serious personal problems which I think are much more important for him to take care of then putting out cd's and touring. It has to be very embarassing when someone who's bands sold out arenas in a matter of two hours, to performing a show in a small club where your giving out tickets for free just to fill it up or half of it. Not to mention AB sold out the same club. Contrary to popular belief not all of his fans wear rose color glasses. If he really wants to do this, he needs to take time off and get his act together so he has something to give again. He also needs a different band and become part of it. By the way he did not acknowledge the band which was very rude. I also thought those AB fans were very rude and immature.

I saw stapp in atl. He was fucking awesome, didnt miss a beat ,,so much energy he was drenched by his fourth song! Breakin ointe was eh ok..kinda blink 182ish. Scott roars, he even teared up once cause the crowd wouldnt stop cheering after his first song "what if". No his band wasnt creed, they were avg at best, but to bring off a great concert it just shows you how good he is. Get off his back, shit if you had millions wouldnt you get drunk screw chicks in your bus and fuck up everyonce in awhile, shit hes just a dude under a microscope, what would you do and what would they see if it were you and I. SCOTT STAPP ROCKS!!

I was at the Hard Rock Show as well and it was one of the worst conerts I have ever had to pay for and see. I now know why he was sued in Chicago...I wasted an hour and a half of my time watching some drugged up, drunk loser trying to sing, fumble through words, and be something he is not cut out to be any more, a damn shame...LL Cool J was better than Stapp..At least that one was free a couple nights later.....

I have seen several CREED concerts at several different venues and cities. I was at the Scott Stapp show in Atlanta. The show was incredible. He was very passionate, didn't miss a beat and the crowd was totally into it. He had an awsome stage presence. There was so much more to this show than any CREED concert I have been to. Ya, the CREED shows had the "show," pyrotech stuff, but that doesn't make a good show. The passion he has for what he does makes the show. He has had troubles, but I'd like to see any one out there that doesn't have demons they fight and regrets for things they've done. And try being a celebrity held up to public scrutiny. We all just mess up in our private lives and worry that our neighbors don't find out. At the ATL show he talked about trying to put regrets behind him. His song "Justify" eludes to a possible problem with alcohol. "add a little booze to ice, you've probably noticed, I've been leading a double life." (or something there abouts.)The song also says "I do not have to justify the way I live my life." And he shouldn't have to. None of us do. Being a spiritual person and having a faith and belief in God doesn't mean you don't have vices or problems. We are all, after all, members of the imperfect human race. I admire his passion, imperfections and all. I thinks he's a hell of a song writer and performer and almost drove to VA the day after the ATL show to see him again.
