Season Finale: Jaime Gleicher's Face

"When she smiles, she's all benevolence and charisma, but when she's at ease, her expression drops to a profound and horrible frown, made more grim by the lipstick-smeared cigarette she often shoves into it. She uses this dichotomy in her face to wield power, making her friends and her mother work for that smile..."

Um, yeah -- she also looks forty.

In the End, 'Rich Girls' Has It All Over 'The Simple Life'

And speaking of rich girls, Xtina and Brit are trading insults again.

oh man is this wrong. once again, the ny times proves they are completely incompetent when it comes to pop culture. (hey thanks for telling the dads in Westchester driving SUVs "brooklyn is cool" june of 2003.) "Rich Girls" is soooo boring man, the can't even find a plot and have whole episodes about the dogs? Quick tongued? These are two of the most pretentious self-aggrandizing egocentric people i've ever seen, and not in a way that is fun to watch. Do they actually believe what they're saying is "deep" or funny. They seem to, and they don't mind fishing for sympathy on tv? give me a break. plus, the simple life rules. that episode where they are mean to that 17 year old girl? Brilliant!!

sometimes i think the NYT employs, quite possibly, the most inane and insipid writers possible. if this person thinks that "rich girls" trumps "the simple life" in quality, then he (she?) is a fucking dolt! yes, i agree that much of the "magic" is in the editing -- the cuts to the confused faces, but at least nicole richie and paris hilton don't take themselves seriously, while the hilfiger/gleicher duo consider themselves to be genuinely magnanimous. spare me! they're still rich bitches, self-aggrandizing, heads up their arses cows. i don't care if ally can cook for herself. kelly osbourne can make easy-mac, for chrissake!

Ally and Jaime are not snobs, they have money but it doesnt make them snobs. Everyone is not perfect and Jaime and Ally know that. They are really nice girls who want to help people. Now Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie off "the simple life" are rich snobs. I think Jaime and Ally are really nice.

Jaime is a fat, angry dirty and ugly cow. She should try to lose some weight. She also needs to see a therapist because she seems to be constantly unhappy despite all of her money.
