Soundgarden Swings

Finally got my hands on that Paul Anka covers CD. Had a tough time picking which track to share, but I think you'll find this one amusing.

I gotta say, this arrangement ain't half bad! Sadly, Paul Anka doesn't seem to have much voice left in his higher register. Even so, this is a credible take on the song. I'd love to hear more from this!

Meh. It doesn't count if you just take the words and tack them on to completely different chord changes.

That's gonna be the name of my new blog (TWYMMF). I know MJ isn't as cool as Leonard Cohen, but at least it has the same number of letters.

best cover since that froggy voiced kid sang it on the Cosby Show? Probably.

Bittersweet/melancholy -- I want to see a whole troupe of showgirls wearing black fishnet and Chris Cornell masks kicking those legs up into the air . . .
Anyone remember Johnny Cash's version of "Rusty Cage?"

"Wonderwall" is fun to listen to, but Mike Flowers Pops already did a popular lounge version so I wanna hit y'all with some Nirvana instead. You gotta hear "Jump" too. Keep an eye out for the 2nd MP3 on Monday.
