Maxi Geil & Playcolt "Strange Sensation" - NYC's best gallery art glam band Maxi Geil & Playcolt are opening up for Maximo Park at Tonic on Saturday night. The band is extremely impressive live so I highly recommend attending the show, especially if you're a fan of Pulp and David Byrne.
Banana Nutrament has annotated the lyrics of LCD Soundsystem's "Losing My Edge" with mp3s for every artist mentioned in the song.
WMFU's Beware of the Blog has mp3s of ice cream truck music!
Poptext has the hot new Portobella single.
Fruits of Chaos has some great J-Pop, as per usual.
Acid Casualties has the entire Pavement Space Ghost Coast To Coast session, plus a whole bunch of solo Stephen Malkmus mp3s.
Said The Gramphone has two songs by NYC's Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.

Im sure he's passed out in the back of a VW bus somewhere on the interstate on the way to BONNEROO...Hopefully he packed rolling papers, or downloaded the instructions for making a beer can bong from Lifehacker....anyway heres an advance for everyone of the new Jamiroquai CD, at least we know we've got someone who can fill Michael Jacksons slippers while he's away in the big house

Hey Matthew...splendid job...I saw Maxi Geil here in Indy not too long ago and their rock opera/video project Nausea II...it was entertaining to say the least.
