Ms. Millan isn't the only Canadian super-group heroine indulging her muse with a solo effort. We love most everything Emily puts her piano and pipes on, but with the exception of "Nothing & Nowhere," the lugubrious lilt of these tunes had us craving some funky, new Metric (new BSS would work, too). Still, it is Emily, and so it's worth checking out. Stream Knives Don't Have Your Back at MySpace.
