See, this one, nobody rushes to comment because what can you say? Like every soundtrack, a couple fine songs, a lotta filler.

I guess what's interesting about this 'indie' soundtrack is that it's mostly pretty good stuff. The standard Death Cab track is there, but a weird little Imogen Heap track, Interpol, Arcade Fire, etc. All stuff I hadn't heard from them before. Is a lot of this stuff unreleased or am I just not cool enough to have heard it yet?

The Jem track is good, I haven't heard her/them before. Reminds me of Zero 7

And of course a Six Feet Under soundtrack needs a version of Don't Fear The Reaper.

That's probably because hardly anyone's awake at 9:30 in the morning. :-)

As for "Six Feet Under," I've never actually seen the show but that commercial they had for the second season (or was it the third?) inspired me to listen to a lot more Nina Simone.

And, once again, VH1's Media Player won't do shit on a Mac. FUCK!

So I'm looking at the Rize ad over on the right there, wow, those are some abs.

I guess I need to start dancing more.

Does anyone really understand what it is about the (microsoft?) technology MTV and Vh1 insists on using for media content delivery that is incompatible with macs? I am on a mac. I have real player. I have quicktime. I have windows media player. Why won't this work on a mac. Anyone here an expert?

Scott works for VH1.com, so he should know, and Scott, if you say, "buy a fucking Dell." one more time, your cat gets it. I'll just light up all the grease in the KFC below your apartment.

Please go beg yer bosses to help us mac people enjoy the viacom media goodies.

Glad you posted the stream because I probably would have forgotten about it. And re: Bonnaroo - great article. Happy to see a mention about Gov't Mule in the VH1 article! Sounds like a lot of great music all over the place.

My two invites are now gone or else I would hook you up.

I would love to have an indietorrents invite is someone would be gracious enough to send me one. I don't really have anything to offer, or else I would.

I'm on a PC, but couldn't get the VH1 page to work, either. Guess it doesn't like Firefox. Anyhoo, the SFU soundtrack is already on sale via iTunes for $12.99. Downloaded it last night...good stuff.

VH1 blows. No Mac support. Lame shows for losers.
The Caesars cover track is pretty good though. Anything is better than hearing "Jerk It Out" again.

i quite liked this soundtrack actually. nina simone is fucking awesome, i hadn't heard anything by her before, aside from a jeff buckley cover of 'be your husband' (which is amazing by the way.)

I thought they did a really great job with 'don't fear the reaper.' i didn't know i liked that song.

please give all these people invites to oink. you never know which of them work for the riaa and we need more logins to complete our data gathering for the impending lawsuits.... Dumbarses... dont give oink invites to anyone but people you know... are you crazy?

Just one look at this site and I see that it is VERY likely that the riaa already has access to oink from people sharing over the web with anyone who asks.... damn, I thought I might have been safe on oink for a while.
