Swiftboat Stars

All the cool celebs are pro-Kerry. Poor GOP. Instead of Springsteen they get Brooks & Dunn. Anyway, here's a list of celebrity Bush backers...

  • Adam Sandler
  • Freddie Prinze Junior
  • Jessica Simpson
  • Shannen Doherty
  • Bruce Willis
  • Tom Selleck
  • Dennis Franz
  • Lara Flynn Boyle
  • Don King
  • The Rock

Imagine if someone voted for Bush because of Jessica Simpson.

    UPDATE: You added...

  • Vincent Gallo
  • Mark Wahlberg
  • Gene Simmons
  • Carlos Santana

As a matter of fact, I don't particularly care for the talents of MOST of those who are supporting the ratpublicans. Dennis Miller has found a way to get on tv and revive his lack-luster career by going ratpublican - he stank any way. It's a free country (in spite of Bush) so let him vote his lack of conscience. No, just kidding (or am I?) But in all seriousness: Perhaps there is a coldness or something negative that comes through in them. It's never pretty when you are on the side that favors the rich and powerful over the weak and not so powerful. At least Christ says this is so. However, I do hope Stephen Tyler and Santana are not ratpublicans. But I don't vote for someone based on which celebrity is supporting whom. I'm not voting for Bush because he has a rotten core: You know he really supported the Viet Nam war and so did his father, and yet he didn't want to go himself but he didn't mind other Americans dying and going for his beliefs. Same is true of Cheney who got out joining the military all together. This really stinks. I can understand being afraid to fight. I can understand not agreeing with a war and not wanting to fight it, but man if you support a war and your support causes other people to go and die and fight, and yet you won't fight it yourself, man that's really low! By the way, regarding the comment by Cheney that Edwards is absent from the Senate too often (we all know he was campaigning - I guess Cheney didn't want him to defend himself and get out on the campaign trail like they have. Now check this out: Bush and Cheney have been on the road and absent from their duties more than any other President or VP in history. The ratpublicans are masters of attributing to their opponents what they themselves are guilty of. The celebs supporting Kerry must be given some props if for no other reason than this: Even though Bush loves the rich above all others and these very rich celebs would benefit from Bush's big tax cuts for the wealthy, they have still put their principles before gain. I think that's pretty cool especially in this age of greed and hypocrisy.

In reference to the person who called people who don't like the republicans "Nazi's." Nazi's used propaganda to destroy the people who opposed them. The Nazi's condoned and punished people who spoke out against them. (Remember Linda Rhonstadt and the Dixie Chicks to name but a few). The Nazi's were against freedom of the press, freedom of speech, and they didn't care for minorities, and people who didn't like minorites found a haven with them. Just like Falwell and others have found in the republcian party. They are welcome there and they and the rest of us know it. Also, the Nazi's did whatever they wanted and justified it. This is NOT a description of attributes of the Democrats. Those attributes are republican. We all know the real story about Bush. Okay, so the man who wrote that Bush is cowardly for supporting a war but low enough to let others go in his place is right. When the candidates debate, why is it that Kerry and Edward's are grilled and attacked? The mess we're in is because of BUSH and CHENEY! Kerry didn't destroy the economy. Kerry didn't give immoral tax breaks to the rich, Kerry didn't lie to the UN, the American people and the world! Kerry didn't misplan a war and lie about it. Kerry didn't sanction the preferential treatment of Halliburton, that was BUSH! Iraq and Korea got WMD's during Bush's watch NOT KERRY'S! So why do we keep hearing that BUsh is the one who will protect us? He is NOT doing that! It was NOT Kerry who behaved cowardly when his country called on him in Viet Nam - That was BUSH! Why does Kerry have to answer for anything? We are in a mess because of Bush. But, it's business as usual for Bush and Cheney. Just like the days of Viet Nam: They are still sacrificing others for their own desires. This is the lowest of the low.

Add Charlie Gibson (or however he spells his first name) to the list of republcians. Diane Sawyer and Tom Brokaw too. Diane Sawyer worked for Nixon at one time - I read it in her bio. I expect that Gibson will grill Kerry as if it was Kerry who stuck it to our country instead of Bush. I'm not watching the spin masters after the debates. They all want to convince us that Bush has Kerry's character and that Kerry has Bush's. It's not working for those of us who really do love America and what she once aspired to stand for. Only God can help us. I hope He has not given up on us. I'm trying to be the best person I can be and I know there are many other Americans who are as well. I'm sick of propaganda and so many people pretending Bush is an honorable man. I recently found out that Laura Bush caused the death of a 17 year old in the early 60's when she went through a stop sign that she knew was there (since she'd been through it many times before in the small town) and hit this boy's car killing him instantly. She had to be going pretty fast through a stop sign to do that. If this baggage was in Mrs. Kerry's or Mrs. Clinton's past, the press and the republicans would have destroyed them. But, it seems always to be okay when a republican breaks moral and legal laws. I don't think Ted Kennedy would think he got off as easy as Mrs. Bush has.

Those people in the military joined willingly, so when people gripe about them being killed, that is part of their job description-they knew they would risk their lives to protect this great country. If all they joined for is a paycheck, that's their own fault!! Vote BUSH Nov. 2nd

Laura Bush is not perfect, nor has she ever claimed to be...i hope you have a perfect driving record. People have mistakes and skeletons in their closet, it is no one's business what Laura Bush did in the early 60s...Hilary and Bill were crackheads but who talked about that????

okay, first of all, celebrities should not be shy to speak for what they believe. i like two celebrities who are totally different for one another. one is pro bush , the other pro kerry..and i love em both for who they are, and not who they vote for..and for their talent.
they are alyssa milano and shannen doherty..now..too bad they don't get along..=[
