why can't youtube keeps its audio and video in sync? its getting very annoying.

because the frame rate in flash is different than the frame rate on the camera.

50 seconds into video: "Ok, let's pan to Danger Mouse for a second. Is that him? He in frame? Ok that's enough."

My friend thinks that Cee-Lo taking too much attention away from DM. Of course, Cee-Lo's the performer in the group. What do they expect? I dunno whether or not DM seems to mind that most of the people I know think Gnarls Barkley is just another moniker for Cee-Lo, but then again, none of them really knew who Cee-Lo was beforehand.

I liked their performance on the Tonight Show. I think they actually shot it like, "This guy has some kind of personality too."

Hmm...I immediately want to back down from that last comment. Yeah, I know this isn't professional footage or anything and I know the Cee-Lo is supposed to draw way more attention than Danger Mouse onstage.

...I'm just sayin' is all.

putting way too much thought into blog commenting, dude.

Lol Nick. Love-40 was great at Lolla, much better than Kanye's performance.

Gnarls Barkley sang awesome, and Danger Mouse was solid on the DJ'ing and keyboards...

Gnarls Barkley is so over-hyped and rated.

You mean Cee-Lo sang awesome.

sigh...

wow it only took 2 comments past fido's to prove the stupidity of people. Once they see a singular sounding name and only notice one performer with stage presence they think it's gnarls barkley backed by beats from dangermouse. he is cee-lo, they are gnarls barkley.

gnarls was ok...definitely a WAY overrated show. When you've got shows like the Go! Team to compete with, it's gotta be considerably better to be considered 'awesome'...seriously

Isn't that why it's funny, themn?

ceelo is fat. anybody catch the detachment kit at 2005 siren festival? they were dressed as tennis players. that fat boy is stealing ideas and eating cake.

I heard that there are some movies where people are dressed up like Jedis and Darth Vaders. Gnarls Barkley stole that, too.

Are they holding auditions anywhere? I'd like to join them.

Third best set of Lolla (after Broken Social Scene and The Flaming Lips), but the whole time I was thinking, "They're just a little face paint away from stealing Man Man's onstage get up."

gnarls dress up in different themes for all of their shows... they're bound to "steal" costumes/themes every now and then.

completed unrelated message, other than the fact that it has something slightly to do with hip hop, but are there any gym class heroes fans out there? I just got into them and have been trying to get the 'gum to do something on them. I think they are the most well deserving band on myspace (kidding)

Gnarls wore those tennis whites when i saw them play at the Orange County Fair a few weeks ago ... i got the Royal Tennenbaum vibe too ...

i didnt think they were that great live (its headphone music, not really booty shaking dance music) but to each his own

you white boys are a hoot....and only goes to prove the genius of gnarls barkley.....and why they should be awarded best band of 2006 on everybody's year end list.....maybe even time's man of the year....you've got to give it up to these fresh fellows from the redy clay of georgia.....may the force remain with them!

gym class heroes. i've heard their two singles. one is about emo bands, and the other is about myspace. they're fucking shit. the day stereogum reports on them is the day i spot reading.

Hey harry, I am actually a student at umass amherst and havent done anything close to a street team since I signed up for my kriss kross fan club in 7th, but thanks for playing.

and ps if you are gunna jump the gun and call me street team, then I might as well give you the inevetable snide blogger asshole call

i hate to get all music geek here... but here we go..

kris kross broke in 92/93 (14/13 years ago), assuming you signed up for the kris kross fan club "in 7th" grade, then you were 12 in 92. which would make you 26 right now.

and if you're a) hyping up the gym class heroes b)repping hard for the college you go to at 26, then you, my friend, are a fucking dolt. end of story.

now, if you were in the fan club for the half-baked kris kross comeback, that's even worse.

I love the hatred I am getting here. I wrote the comment quick, the number is irrelevant. I am 21 and a senior, journalism major in fact. while your math is correct, the effect of the story wasnt to talk about seventh grade, but rather ease up on the guy who got all crazy on me. I bought kriss kross when it came out, which would make me nine, and played it in my mothers volvo 740 wagon (all you hipsters can go crazy on me because the word volvo was typed in a blog "oh no!")I hope that clears up all my details, now I can have my professor fact check it if you like? I was not hyping Gym class, I was merely asking what people thought, or should I do that someplace else other than a music website?
