The Box Turtle Debate
With all the talk about Britney's wedding, I thinks it's only fair to devote some space to this week's gay marriage brouhaha. If Britney can get married, Rob Halford should be allowed too!
Texas Senator John Cornyn disagrees. Here's text from a speech he gave to the Heritage Foundation this week:
"It does not affect your daily life very much if your neighbor marries a box turtle. But that does not mean that it's right. ... Now you must raise your children up in a world where that union of man and box turtle is on the same legal footing as man and wife."
Huh? In fairness I should point out that the graph was pulled from Cornyn's speech at the last minute, but that won't stop me from posting this educational graphic...
