I saw REM play Green and Murmur straight through in 1989.

For what it's worth.

I'll wait till next year's Revolver tribute. Imagine the New Pornographers covering "She Said She Said."

Why isn't the Dirty Three performing "Horse Stories"? And why do I somehow care?

Surely they could've gotten some more impressive talent for this? It is the Beatles, after all.

Ted Leo, Rhett Miller, Fiery Furnaces - cool. But this is a seriously under-powered line-up.

Cowboy Junkies singing an up-tempo cover? That's unheard of.

That Belle & Sebastian show sounds great.
But how about we get the following shows:
R.E.M. does Automatic for the People (with Bill "Bert" Berry!)
The Church does Starfish
The Smiths do Strangeways, Here We Come
and so on.

What else am I forgetting?

Perhaps they've done this already (I have no clue) but I would love to see the Drive-By Truckers play the whole Southern Rock Opera.

Green Day playing all of Dookie (come on, you all own it...)

The Hold Steady playing ...Almost Killed Me in order
