The Libertines

The Libertines is so much better than I anticipated. Their rock 'n' roll soap opera is fascinating, but the music ultimately speaks for itself.

Stream the whole thing here.

You can watch (read) the soap opera in action on Peter Doherty's site, www.babyshambles.com. His incoherent posts on the msg board are pathetic, yet I can't stop reading.

Saw the Libertines live at the Bowery last week and finally got it. Their albums are good, but their live show is at another level. Their drummer is frigging fantastic.

Um... am I an idiot? I don't see the streaming option anywhere. Is it because I'm using Safari on a Mac, or is VH1 having problems?

Apples In Stereo Energize Pepsi Rebranding

As we've mentioned in the past (2007), Robert Schneider's not afraid of the graceful sellout. So, no, we're not surprised that he and his E6 cohorts just scored a Pepsi commercial. (Heck, we already knew how much E6-related bands loved...
