The Narrator Say Goodbye With A Song

thubmnail icon: The Narrator Say Goodbye With A Song

Yes, it's true, the Narrator, those excellent R.E.M. coverers, have decided to break-up. Don't worry, though, they've left a note and it includes a Promise Ring reference. Also, they've recorded a special little song "So The End," starring Bob Dylan and focusing on the harsh realities of trying to make a living off music these days ("It's hot and expensive, it's time to go home," etc). There's also tinnitus and layovers. Listen here then say goodbye. Before getting too down in the dumps, though, wait for the triumphant, coming-to-terms group sing-a-long ... still, don't feel bad about crying on your keyboard. We want to avoid this pun, but hey: We're sad The Narrator decided to end the story ... Happy trails, guys.

it's a jawbreaker reference, not promise ring

We were talking about "Tell Everyone We're Dead," which is a great old Promise Ring song: http://youtube.com/watch?v=IuDw8hguS74 ... Though they could've gone the Jawbreaker route with "Pack It Up."

ah, i didn't read the heading. the "please come. they won't be the same without you" is from jawbreaker's "east bay invitational"
