Wayne Coyne, Miley Cyrus, and Kanye West need to start a Justice League type group that defends famous people who have been shunned/annoyed by other famous people.

That's an injustice that NEEDS to be resolved!

i've never met thom yorke. he could be very nice. and i like radiohead for the most part.

but would it be any surprise if he was a huge asshole? you spend 15 years having every review and interviewer kissing your ass and praising your genius while making a lot of money and selling out arenas and festivals the whole time and try not being a little bit of a pretentious dick.

Thing is, Radiohead makes good music with excellent writing and no artistic compromise. It wouldn't matter if Thom Yorke was a big asshole or the gentlest soul on earth, it's the music that matters. All this persona-celebrity bullshit is probably why Radiohead stays out of the press.

Actually, I would be surprised. I don't find pretense in Radiohead's work and from the interviews I've read with Thom Yorke he's very honest and actually cuts through media pretense.

That being said, I suppose if you perceive the music press to be unpretentious, you'll probably read those same interviews and believe that Yorke is pretentious. It's all a matter of perspective.

All of you guys are just mean. Miley has done more for people than you will ever know. She has sold waaayyy more CDs and iTunes songs and stuff than Radiohead ever will. Obviously she would be the one that people should listen to, not some weird British group that just makes weird sounds so people think they are smart when they listen to it.

It's not about selling the most merchandise or winning Grammies, though they're both nice. The only thing that counts is the one thing people really Do care about: MUSIC. As for the "weird sounds" part, that's not the only thing they've done. If you haven't, listen to both 'The Bends' and 'OK Computer' albums by Radiohead. They aren't exactly "weird sounds".

I can't believe anyone into good music would compare Hannah or Myley tp Radiohead. The latter has made some of the most interesting and innovative music over the last 10 years. Also, OK Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows were all nominees for best album and Hail to the Thief and Amnesiac for Best Alternative album.
Don't get me wrong, I like Miley but I just don't think it is worth comparing her to Radiohead - she's just not in the same league.

Radiohead are the greatest band in definatley the last decade.

Miley is just some disney faze, she'll hit 21, start taking serious drugs and alcohol, start wanting to get away from the "teen star" title - but it'll never happen, she'll always try to be grown up, but it's never work and yeah, basically when she's 25 they'll have been some new kid disney found and they'll get huge and people won't even know who she is...that's how it works.

and as for Kayne, he has his head so far up his own arse, I'm surprised he even notices anything else.

I haven't seen one thing mentioned yet.......Is anyone else concerned that we are actually in the same fan base as miley cyrus? I don't know if that means she has good musical taste, or if the rest of us have the same musical taste as a 15 girl. I guess it's best not to think about.
