Tom & Katie & Mark

We haven't touched the creepiest nuptials in Italian history 'cause, well, they're a creepy couple -- and, honestly, 'cause it had nothing to do with music. Until now! We were cruising People's Tom & Katie Wedding Blog (you know, like ya do), and we found an interesting life-imitating-"art" post on Tom's performing "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" during the couple's wedding reception. ("You can ride my tail anytime!") But of course, the Righteous Brothers tune wasn't all the event had by way of music; how about LA's Mark Ronson on the ones and twos!

Now that's a party! Seriously, what's weirder -- that Mark Ronson DJd, or that People has a Tom & Katie Wedding Blog?! Or that you totally already knew about the Tom & Katie Wedding Blog?

This is off topic but... can anyone tell me the name of the Cat Power song in the new Zales jewelry commercial? And if so, where can I find it?

Should I know who Mark Ronson is?

And did I just up my street cred, or damage it?

My second favourite dj. I dont know what he was doing there (lots of money?. Did a great remix of radioheads "just" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QmWPEHaoC8
and did a great show on eastern village radio, but i think they stopped podcasting it as too many bloggers were bootlegging stuff. Oops.

Why would a new groom sing "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" to his bride?

Is he related to Samantha Ronson, that dj that is always draped all over Lindsay Lohan and vice-versa?

She is Mark's sister. Their dad is Mick Ronson, who played guitar for Bowie.

The "new Cat Power song" in the Zales commercial is actually a Cat Stevens song called "How Can I Tell you" from the record "Teaser and the Firecat" originally released in 1971. And it's actually DeBeers and not Zales.

Anyway, it's a beautiful song. You should check it out.
