Radiohead Tour 2008: North America Gets Some Dates

Man those Radiohead guys are so good to us. First it was the whole pay what you want thing, maybe you heard. And now, for us sorry saps that don't have anything to look forward to this Valentine's Day, they give us a reason to get out of bed in the morning: North American dates go on sale 2/14! Feel the love. (If you're south of the Mason Dixon, that is.)

A smattering of the cities previously confirmed for Radiohead shows get official venues and dates today, yay (thanks, Tyler). The northeast, midwest, west coast, and Canada are gonna have to wait for another day, unfortunately (you guys can road trip with us). Europeans have had tour details for awhile now -- and of course, as the rest of the tour will be, most of those dates are already sold out -- but we wend ahead and listed 'em for you anyway (you guys can backpack with us).

So when it comes to Valentine's Day, and we mean this in the least perverted way possible, hope you get lucky. And also, that you're able to secure tickets to see Radiohead. Listing of what we know after the jump.

2003 presale via w.a.s.t.e was a complete mess. How have more recent presales gone? I'm nervous about the site crashing like last time.

Also, houston tickets are $65 for the front pit and seats. Lawn cheaper.

I was wondering at what time they go on pre-sale, 12am, 8am, 10am?? I just might have to wait and check them all!

Ticketmaster should let you pay whatever you want.

the previous two tours have not had any announced time for the pre-sale. it's been pretty much all about hitting F5 on your keyboard from midnight onward and hope you aren't in the restroom when it goes live. i'm not saying it'll be the same situation, but it sure looks that way. this is one scenario where dilligence really pays off.

unlike 2005 tour, these venues are huge...so although W.A.S.T.E. tix will go fast, TicketWhore tix should not

I was at the Red rocks show in Denver (Morrison) Co. and it was (arguably) their best show and venue of the tour.

It’s the best place to see a band, period. I didn’t hear about Radiohead’s tour bus getting messed with, that was lame.

ACKPTH. I need to get tickets for the first date-- does anybody have any experience ordering tickets through waste? (like do you need to register/be a member of their mailing list/etc.) or do you have just have to show up feb 14th, and hope that the site doesn't crash?

Live Nation website says tickets are going on sale 2/16, not 2/14, at 10 AM for the Nissan show.

Does Radiohead have the balls to offer "choose your own pricing" for a concert?
