New Crystal Stilts - "Prismatic Room"
When I featured Crystal Stilts in an installment of The Outsiders, I posted "Crippled Croon," a standout from their recent self-titled Woodsist EP. As mentioned then, it's an older recording from way back in '05, but the Brooklyn band has a full-length of new material Alight Of Night forthcoming, fittingly, on Slumberland. They recently posted a track from it up at their MySpace. Head there to hear the shimmery dream-pop of "Prismatic Room" and get an idea of why we can't stop listening to CS. Also, that isn't an updated photo -- Frankie, ex-Vivian Girls, is their current drummer (speaking of bands we can't stop listening to...).
