UK U2

"Fast Cars" is on the UK version of How To Dismantle..., but not the US release. Hear it here.

Yesterday Bono & Edge performed in the rain at Clinton's library opening. Barbara Bush seemed to dig it.

Picture them all wearing iPods.

Interesting to see the cable news networks (except Fox, of course) focus on George Bush during Bono and The Edge's rendition of Sunday Bloody Sunday.

Does it bother anyone else that he is yelling "One! Two! Thee! Fourteen!"?

No, because it's a reference to U2's 14th album release.

actually it's only their 13th, unless you counted like Million Dollar Hotel or whatever.

but i've heard it's an inside joke, that Lillywhite has produced their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and now 14th albums.

Actually it's their 14th if you count their release as "The Passengers" (the album where they did the song with Pavarotti, "Miss Sarajevo").

Thanks for the link to the UK Bonus track!

i'm glad to know the man meant to say that, and he's not just an idiot. still doesn't keep me from wanting to shove sharp sticks in my ears when those stupid commercials come on ever 3.45 seconds.

Yeah, Bill is looking nice for an old man. Bush and his daddy must feel like idiots standing next to Clinton and Carter. Just sayin'.

Bush looks like he's about to bite someone. Probably because his dad had nice things to say about Clinton.

this picture reminds me of that old snl cartoon, the Ex-Presidents. my favorite part was at the end when they would perform a monkees-esque song. ya know, back when snl was moderately funny.

Bush Sr: "That Boner is one talented fella, isn't he Jimmy?!, Bar really seems to be enjoying his performance."
Carter: "Yeah he is, Boner is very talented"!
Clinton: "I downloaded the album to my IPOD and it totally rocks". "I think this is U2's best album in years".
Bush Jr: "Hehehehe.....Dad you said Boner....Hehehe"....."when I get my libary I'm going to get that Jessica Simpson to play at my libary dedication and also Brooks and Dunn and Ted Nugent....I love the Nuge"! "Cat Scratch fever, (mimes playing air guitar) donnnnn...watchataca...Cat Scrrrrratttchhh Fever!"
"And I'm going to have back issues of Maxim Magazine in my libary cause its a sweet magazine".

Bush Jr: "Oh not only would I have Maxim Magazine in my libary I would also have all of the Nuge's cd's in my libary!" "Oh if he does perform at my libary I want him to perform in that little loin cloth that he wears, that's so hot"! "One time I wraped a pillow case around my waste and I was pretending to be the Nuge and John Ascroft walked in on me and told me that the Nuge's music was devil music and I told him it was Jesus music to me"! "I bet John Kerry is into pussy rock like James Taylor"

Clinton: smacks GWB upside the head, "Shut up Jr.!"

I was also thinking that not only would Clinton have Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits on his iPOD, I'm also guessing that Clinton is a Kenny Loggins fan and has both Kenny Loggins greatest hits and Loggins and Messina's greatest hits on his ipod and I'm also guessing he is a fan of another Kenny, Kenny G!
