Unearthed Michael Jackson Song Sounds Like America As in "A Horse With No Name," the #1 hit from 1972. But, according to TMZ, "several years ago America's manager gave his group's permission for Jackson to record the song, A Place With No Name' -- despite the similarity." Here's a clip.

I always thought that song really got the highway trance and shadows thing really right...How ironic that the king of the twinkle twinkle 80's pop would be drawn to it...

Apparently the Jacksons had a fondness of America. Remember Janet Jackson sampling "Ventura Highway" for her hit "Someone To Call My Lover"?
