A.C. Newman Brings Nicole Atkins And "Like A Hitman, Like A Dancer" To Letterman
While fellow Pornographer Neko Case was warming up for a show at Times Square's Nokia Theater last night, Carl Newman was across town at Letterman's place with his increasingly frequent vocal sidekick Nicole Atkins. (The pair were at Ed Sullivan Theatre together previously as part of the indie rock choir, they played A.C.'s album release show at Virgin in January, she guests on Get Guilty, all that's left is an honorary New Porno membership.) Dave's impressed with their take on Get Guilty standout "Like A Hitman, Like A Dancer" and tells Nicole it's "nice to see" her, playing it considerably cooler than last time.

What happened to the catchy? I miss it. All craft, no hooks where there used to be about 1,000 per song. Oh well.
