Arcade Fire Cover The Smiths
With Morrissey fresh on our minds and Arcade Fire never far away, we bring you some footage of the Butlers & Co. tackling the Smiths' "Still Ill" in Manchester on Friday night. Guess they're picking up on the home-territory-homage bit from the Boss (sans guest appearances, unfortunately).
According to NME, Win introduced the the performance by calling it a song "that made me want to play music," adding "I have been sick and better this year and sick again. This song is called 'Still Ill'." Turns out Win's got a good Moz voice! And Régine handles the chorus croon. Sorry for the muted audio; we'll replace with better when it comes, but these things take time.
And bonus fun, the Smiths doing "Still Ill" live on The Tube back in '84. Moz goes down! But not how KristeenYoung meant.

That's a pretty nice cover. They're usually at their best in these exercises ("Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son", in particular).
