Ben Gibbard's April Fools Day Side-Project

thumbnail icon: Ben Gibbard's April Fools Day Side-Project

On this highest of prankster high holidays, the internet is riddled with shit you shouldn't believe. Or just maybe Ben Gibbard really is looking for some jazz release via his appropriately titled new side-project Just Jazzin'. Here's the project description:

Just Jazzin' is a new project by Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie. Born out of an interest in exploring music free from rules and convention, Just Jazzin' offers the world a chance to see another side of Ben.

You can listen to it at at MySpace, but to get a proper feel for the project you should probably just check out this video EPK, which can be summed up in three words: Think. Hands. Note.

Har. Nice Rapist Glasses, Ben. (Thanks MTV for the tip.)
