Bon Iver Covers The Outfield

Bon Iver's had a strong showing in year-end lists from folks who consider For Emma, Forever Ago a 2008 release. But dude is not resting on laurels. Just a few days ago, we watched Mr. Vernon on Letterman and listened to his new EP's title track "Blood Bank" while the final leg of his US tour continues. At Friday's Music Hall Of Williamsburg gig, his band performed a cover of "Your Love" for the benefit of music bloggers. They played it again in Boston on Sunday, and that's where the following video was recorded.
He makes it so much sadder. (HT Muzzle Of Bees, photo by Kyle Dean Reinford for BV.)
Bon Iver - "Your Love" (Live) (MP3)
This is the second live cover of Outfield's '85 hit we've enjoyed this month. Ted Leo + Rx played it at Indie Rock Karaoke a few weeks ago. Fortunately no one's covered those mullets yet.

Also, the youtubecatcher videotomp3 didn't work for me. However, vidtomp3.com works great.
