Bruce Springsteen And Brandon Flowers Trek Down "Thunder Road"

thumbnail icon: Bruce Springsteen And Brandon Flowers Trek Down "Thunder Road"

Brandon Flowers returned from camping this past weekend to hook up with Bruce Sprinsgteen & the E Street Band in the Netherlands for the Pinkpop Festival. (Thanks for the tip, Curtis.) Knowing the Killers' drama like we do, it's logical they'd tackle "Thunder Road," basically a Garden State fairytale. Flowers replaced his usual feathers with a fan-boy smile and manages to fit-in with the band around him. Unfortunately, the person shooting the video sang along with 6,000 of his or her friends, and didn't manage to fit-in with the band (at all).

This one's a video of a video, but the crowd's not as shrill.

The Boss will also be at Bonnaroo.

Is Brandon's mic cutting out? Well either way he looks like his biggest dream just came true. Good for him. Honestly way better than when Conor Oberst did it.

Bruce was also checking out The Killers' performance earlier that day and Brandon just couldn't stop smiling. Especially when The Boss complimented them on their show and he was asked to join him on stage later. Both performances were very good. Nice to see musicians having so much fun.

it's official: brandon flowers is the luckiest man alive. i guess it makes sense that bruce would be so completely out of touch with what constitutes good music these days. the killers and their constantly off-key "singer" must be stopped!!!

what? the Killers may not be the most creative band and are a bit cheesy sometimes, but they're fun and Brandon Flowers has a nice voice.
basically, Bruce's opinion > your opinion.
