Chris Martin Covers Cat Stevens
Reader D writes:
I'm not sure if you guys covered this the first time you wrote up Chris Martin being on Extras, but any chance you or your other Stereogum minions will get their mitts on the "Tea for the Tillerman" cover that he performs at the end of the show? The answer to that, D, is no we did not get our mitts on Chris's Cat cover. (Anyone have?) All we did was post this vid of Chris's appearance, which ought to be watched ad nauseam, as it is Martin in one of his most flattering lights (i.e. taking the piss ala K-Fed).

As a general rule, I loathe all things Coldplay, but I think I just changed my mind... that was AWESOME.

Didn't change my mind, Martin is still an overrated douche.

i think they really shouldn't have had that whole performance part in it, because it's almost like Extras really is using a musical guest. I like him as a guest on the shitcom though.

how is chris martin overrated? it's not like he recieves a ton of praise in the media. i personally love his voice (it's not perfect, but its a refreshing change to hear a voice with actual character)this is an awesome cover of an aweseome song!
