Ellen Turns 50, Celebrates With Dramarama

E left the mullet in the '80s, but her love for '80s alt.rock anthem "Anything, Anything" dies hard. Word is, when she's not having her audience embarrass themselves by dancing to the latest and greatest in Soulja Boy, she's having her DJ (Stryker! Not his real name!) spin Dramarama, on commercial breaks. According to TV Squad, every commercial break.

So you can't blame Stryker for wanting to mix it up a little for DeGeneres's big 5-0. (via Whit)

John Easedale looks just like the '80s! Save the Johnny Cash makeover. Keep up with the latest in Dramarama drama here.

that was kinda awesome, I will admit I'm a sucker for the song...takes me to the karate training scene from Nightmare on Elm Street 4.

I missed this song the first time around, but they play it on Sirius's Firt Wave almost as often as they play "Rock Lobster".

Ha ha my first concert was Dramarama and The Cult back around 87 or 88. I was only 7-8 and we had to leave during the cult because it was getting a little crazy(I don't remember why, I think drunk people were fighting right next to us or something.

I met John and was following him around the Casino(the alladin) and naming off all his songs that I like. When he had to go my mom was completely embarrassing and asked him if that was his "Last Cigarette".
