Gavin Rossdale's Theme To Drive

Gwen's hubbie's finally gonna start earning his keep, leaving Kingston with the nanny and dusting off his grungy voice for his first solo record, produced by Metallica cohort Bob Rock. Won't be out for a spell, though fans of Fox's show Drive have already heard a sample of one of the album's cuts, soundtracking the show's opening sequence. Can't say it's much to get lathered up about, but have a listen.

The TiVO is fast approaching maximum capacity, but is this show worth the space? Doesn't sound like it, at least. If you so desire, make Rupert Murdoch a happy man and watch the first three episodes of the Fox show at MySpace.

Sounds pretty shitty.

Bush had a few really good songs, but overall they just seemed pretty cheesy.

Nathan Fillion is worth watching in anything.

I think this show is also produced by Tim Minear, who had a hand in Firefly and Wonderfalls. Which means it'll be awesome for half a season, then get shitcanned.

Yeah, the show's got me hooked ... I should've guessed the Firefly connection!

Wow, that title sequence looks so ridiculous. Will take your word the show is okay though.

In my books Gavin Rossdale is pure cheese and always has been. Although thinking about Bush takes me back to 1995 and makes me feel way old.

I don't think I need to watch this POS show to make Rupes a "happy man." I think his current world domination is quite sufficient. However, I am sure he's a very big Bush fan.

Tim Minear and Nathan Fillon cannot go wrong.

Except apparently in the choice of theme song.

My hubby made me watch the show...and I am very grateful he did. I loved Firefly and Drive is looking as though it is going to be even better.

As to you guys' opinion on the theme...you're all on cheap drugs :). I think Gavin did a great job on this one! Too bad I can only listen to the Fox site version instead of having a copy for myself...for now!

Drive is a great show. I was hooked on the first episode, but...sorry...it's been cancelled. Nathan Fillion rocks...his character is great in this show...and typical Nathan Fillion delivery on the jokes= greatness

Well i don't think that the opening song is that bad. His voice is just rusty. I think. oh well. it is a good show though
