Jack White Loves Rainbows And Stars!

After spending two of the past four days with Jack, you'd think we'd have had our fill of ol' Jacko. And maybe you'd be right, if he wasn't shedding light on that infamous long-distance phone call and confessing his love for our two favorite things in the world (see post title).

I actually agree with Jack on this one. Private conversations should stay private, no matter who you are. That whole Alec Baldwin debacle showed how ridiculous things like this have become, when a man is having to apologize on The View and be tried in the court of public opinion for leaving an angry message for his daughter. Obviously that's just part of being famous, but it's still a bit ridiculous.

that's an interesting perspective that i didn't even think about prior to this, everyone was talking about how he flew off the handle and that he was being too controlling with his music and what not, but as the head of his own music label, he has to take an active interest in things of this sort, i respect him for handling it with his own hands instead of calling up lawyers.

most sensible and talented man in rock right now.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "Jack White is the coolest motherfucker in music today."

Can someone please post a link to the video that works outside the US, or rip it somehow?

Jack White...what a cool cat. He has more talent in his pinky than most people in the entire industry hands down.

Wait, where are all the haters? I thought he would be getting slammed for this by us. Acknowledges he's famous, refers himself in the third person, says he was having a private conversation on the hotline of a radio station, which is a public forum ?!!!!!! I'm sorry but I think he's setting himself up. If I was Q101, this gives me "carte blanche" to air that "conversation".
