Jeppe Laursen (Ex-Junior Senior) Competes For Danish Eurovision
What happens to onetime Junior Seniors after their band calls it quit? In the case of Fine Young Cannibals fan Jeppe Laursen, they perform a catchy new wave song ("Lucky Boy") on Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2009, complete with backing vocals from three women on neon-lit polls ("I just wanna stay here and talk to you," repeat), lots of hammy interaction with the camera (note his John Madden hands in that above screengrab), and a carefully placed cowbell.

Actually what's worth taking note of is that the drummer is Lars i Lommen of Wolfkin and IAMAROBOT fame and the guy on synth is Thomas Troelsen who used to be in Superheroes, and now produces while playing in Private (a sort of '80s- Prince band)... just thought you'd like to know!
