John Mayer Apologizes

No, not for dating Jessica Simpson, and not for the adult-contempo-drivel that mars most of his recorded output. This is just John trying to be funny (you know how we like to keep tabs on that). About pit bulls. Didn't pan away soon enough, John. Why's he so desperate to make us laugh?

Does anybody know of a website kind of like this one with the frequent updates and links to songs and vids, but instead of White Stripes, QOTSA, New Pornographers, Air, Amy Winehouse, John Mayer and Lily Allen, it's more White Stripes, QOTSA, New Pornographers, Bad Wizard, Riverboat Gamblers, Scissorfight, and GWAR?

His fans think he is funny, that is why he posted this on his personal blog. Fans of Stereogum obviously won't think its funny, so posting it on the site is pointless.

It's like putting Mitch Hedberg videos on CNN.com. Not getting a positive reply? No shit!

Disagreed.

If you think he's funny then it's haha, LOL entertaining and if you don't think he's funny then it is completely entertaining in a train-wreck, embarassing, I want to run through the halls of my high school sort of way.

Mitch Hedberg is funny on any web site. Anyone who doesn't laugh at a Mitch Hedberg clip is a douche with no sense of humor.

John Mayer should stick to guitar, not inside jokes no one finds funny.

Was anyone at the show? Was it truncated? What's the story?

Anyway, thanks for the news. John Mayer isn't funny. You're all very dignified for pointing it out.

I believe he was making fun of Michael Vick, the Atlanta Falcons player who got busted for dog fighting rings. Mayer lived in ATL for many years, hence the connection.

Umm, what an absolute See You Next Tuesday. And the boy is chucking a sausage up Jessica Simpson's close too, the crafty wee fucker. I have not heard one of his songs, but feel I would never need to.
