Lady Sovereign Samples The Cure
Lady Sovereign got you dancing for the first single from her forthcoming Jigsaw, then payed homage to Michael Jackson in the the track's ghoulish video. Staying in the '80s for the next piece of the puzzle "So Human" she samples sings along to the Cure's The Head on the Door classic "Close To Me." For those tired of the biggest midget in the game (as well as that catchphrase), maybe she'll also replicate the original's the wardrobe-over-the-cliff theme.
Jigsaw is out 4/7 via EMI.

Sampling is a part of the rap game...but I wouldn't expect fans of The Cure to understand that. Don't get me wrong, The Cure wrote a lot of great songs...just sayin'... I am sure that The Cure is not mad about her sampling. After all, they had to have given her rights.
